BREADCRUMB

Sharing Our Stories

Hear from our learning community who share their thoughts on leading, learning and playing at Phantom Lake Elementary School.

The Posadas, Phantom Lake Family and PTA Members

Phantom Lake Elementary has been a wonderful place to send our 3 children to school. Moving here from out of state, we quickly found a home in this community. We all need a village and I cannot express how wonderfully communicative and supportive the teachers and staff are. They view each child as a whole and I’m happy to say it has been a warm and inviting place for our children to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

The strength of Phantom Lake lies in its diversity in that it promotes a deep understanding of all the different kinds of people our children may encounter through their lives and I believe that it is this lens of the world in which our children can learn to create a better world and succeed. We are proud to be a PLE family!

Jenna Magnotti, Phantom Lake Parent and PTA Member

Phantom Lake Elementary has provided a truly wonderful experience for my daughter. She’s had the most amazing teachers who have supported her growth every step of the way, and she’s built friendships that I know will last for years to come. I’ve also loved being part of the PTA and helping bring fun, meaningful activities to the students. It’s a special community that we feel very lucky to be part of.

Wendy Rasmussen, Phantom Lake Parent, BSD Staff, and PTA Member

We as a family love Phantom Lake because the teachers, staff, and administration have always been available to answer questions and take action when needed. We have always felt welcome, and most importantly,  supported.

Chisako Higa, Lead Cook

I love working here! I live in the neighborhood, so I get to work in my community. The students are so wonderful and the staff all work as a team!

Dennis Bay, 5th Grade Student

I like PLE because it is a pretty friendly community and it's where all my friends are. I also am glad that I get to take math next door at Tillicum Middle School.

Melinda Wieder (she/her), BSD Parent

I’ve seen the direct impact that the Bellevue Schools Foundation has on our students. As a parent, I’m an advocate for the Foundation because I know it helps not only my kids but those across the entire district!
